Investment Solicitations Policy

Since we receive numerous requests every day to consider investing for our clients, we have developed a submission policy that is outlined below.

Send a brief write up of the investment opportunity with any significant material to our office for review with an indication on the envelope that it is an investment solicitation. If upon review we determine that we would like to meet to discuss or get further information, we will contact you by email or phone. Do not send blind emails or call, as it is impossible for us to respond to all requests. If you are going to be in our area and you would like an opportunity to meet us in person, please send an email with a “REQUEST TO MEET” in the subject line and we will respond if we are interested and available to meet.

Listen to what the public is saying about estate taxes.

Policy and Taxation Group Welcomes New Team Member

Policy and Taxation Group is pleased to introduce the newest member of its team. Brandon Audap joins PATG as the new Senior Director of Legislative and Political Affairs, bringing significant experience on Capitol Hill and a strong government relations background. Most recently, Brandon lobbied on behalf of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), where he fought for estate tax and broader tax relief that would allow the family-owned businesses in the construction industry to grow and create jobs. Brandon also has significant Capitol Hill experience, having worked on the tax staff for former House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Bill Thomas (R-CA). Brandon holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Bakersfield and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from The George Washington University.

Working with PATG’s Founder (Pat Soldano), outside lobbyist (Aubrey Rothrock) and team (Christine Hall, Nathan Parsons and Emily Harlan), Brandon will play a key role in expanding PATG’s influence and reach with members on the Hill, spearheading new research initiatives with the American Family Business Foundation and formulating strategic guidance for our supporting families who participate in political giving efforts.

The addition of Brandon to the PATG team is especially important at this particular time. The estate tax relief movement stands at a critical juncture as Congress gears up for what is likely to be an intense tax policy debate this fall during the post-election “lame duck” session. Congress must address estate, income and investment tax rates before 2013 or many family-owned businesses will face substantial tax increases. PATG is well-positioned to make a convincing case to Congress, especially with the recent strengthening of the effort through the integration of families from AFBI into PATG.
